After the award ceremony took place online due to the pandemic in 2020, nominees, sponsors and guests were able to visit the event live on November 4, 2021 at the Grand Hyatt in Berlin. The POLAR Mohr Award is aimed at back office and field service teams who maintain intensive customer contact and have proven that they regard service as a fundamental part of their work.

The award goes to the team that provides exceptional services to its customers. These can also be projects that, in special cases, have solved very special problems for the customer or have made a significant contribution to the fact that the customer was able to increase its sales in the long term.

"It is always a great pleasure to get to know professional and innovative companies and to reward them for their achievements", says Michael Wombacher, CEO of the cutting machine manufacturer from Hofheim. The company TraffiC Print Online Solutions GmbH from Braunschweig won over the jury, and Wombacher personally presented the award during the gala.

POLAR Mohr was founded in 1906 as "Adolf Mohr, Maschinenfabrik". Since then, the company has undergone a transformation, not only in terms of the products it focuses on. It has grown from a regional provider to the world’s number one for high-speed cutters and associated peripheral equipment for the graphics industry. POLAR develops efficient solutions for the post-print sector and is a future-oriented technology company with a global presence. The product range includes components and systems that link up and automate all processes, from loading, jogging, cutting and die-cutting through to unloading and banding
