Specialty chemicals company LANXESS is increasing prices for a broad range of its Microbial Control products up to 30 percent, or more for selected products. Microbial Control products include in particular active ingredients, preservatives and disinfectants to protect materials and substances against spoilage caused by microorganisms. The price adjustment takes effect immediately and will be applied in line with regional developments.

This decision reflects ongoing, cumulative cost increases, including significantly higher energy, raw material and logistics costs amid persistent geopolitical tensions. Despite comprehensive efforts to offset these increases and maintain stable prices, this adjustment is necessary to ensure the long-term reliability, quality and sustainability of supply for customers worldwide.
