The inaugural FuturePrint Virtual Summit, taking place from 2-4 June, continues to gather support from across the print spectrum as the concept of a ‘not for profit’ event platform proves popular. Comprising of more than 20 unique sessions, with 30 plus speakers from Europe and the US, the summit will bring together global experts and thought leaders from the world of commercial, packaging, wide format, and industrial printing.

Marcus Timson, Co-founder of FuturePrint Virtual Summit organiser FM Future, comments: “We have been blown away by the hugely positive response that we are already receiving for the Virtual Summit. It’s inspiring to see so many of our industry’s most influential speakers so keen to be involved, and we are proud to play our part in helping the industry come together, share knowledge, and stay connected to colleagues and peers during this challenging period.”

“Now is the time to connect with your peers and industry experts to gain insight on how to optimize your business during and after COVID-19. The Virtual Summit allows us to learn, network, and grow in this new digital event space. I look forward to joining a panel of women leaders in the print industry as we share the resources available to you during this unprecedented time.” - Adrienne Palmer, Editor-in-Chief at Big Picture and Screen Printing magazines and SGIA Women in Print Alliance Member

“The FuturePrint Virtual Summit has come at the right time. The crisis has forced us all online even more! And while we are reigniting our plans for the future, an online gathering such as this will provide us all with a welcome way to connect with thought leaders, learn, listen and provide ideas that will help in the recovery.” - Kristin Adams, Marketing Manager, Kao Collins

“COVID-19 has had a very significant short-term effect on the printing industry. So now we need to come together, via the FuturePrint Virtual Summit to discuss the best possible ways to navigate the future. We see a very positive future for Inkjet and when the lockdown eases, we will undoubtedly see an increase in adoption as demand returns.” - Arnaud Linquette, Senior Vice President EMEA, Memjet

“The world has been adversely affected by this crisis and although we are still unsure what this means in the long run, we do still see a positive future for digital printing. However, right now is the time to think about the future, plan and innovate. FuturePrint’s Virtual Summit with its not for profit commitment is aiming to help the market get back on its feet and make the best possible result when the lockdown eases and business returns.” – Nova Abbott, Kavalan

“We have never had a more challenging but exciting time in the world of print. The FuturePrint Virtual Summit will bring together the best of ‘what was’ with new ideas, concepts, and thought-provoking dialogue to make sure you are best armed with the tools you need to prosper in the future.” – Simon Biltcliffe, Founder and CEO, Webmart

"I owned a database company in the late 2000s which failed during the tech bust of 2002-2003. It's a great honour to be able to share my knowledge and ideas with others to help them avoid the pitfalls of a crisis, survive it, and go on to thrive." – Tom Wittenberg, Industry Relations & Events, HP

"Following on from the announcement that we have joined as a FuturePrint partner earlier this year we are pleased to announce our panel participation at the FuturePrint Virtual Summit 2-4 June. Our CEO, Steve Wilson will join the 'Inkjet in Corrugated' session and is happy to join the panel with other leading panellists on this topic. We look forward to seeing you at the summit." Matt Brooks, Head of Products and Solutions at Inca Digital Printers

“We as an industry need to come together and this dateline is helpful as by then I’m sure we will have more clarity over the direction we need to take. The market has had a shock over the past few weeks and to some extent, I sense we are all assembling our thoughts to understand what this means going forward. The FuturePrint Virtual Summit initiative, taking place early June, will provide us with a really useful platform to connect, to hear the latest thinking but to also share some of the projects and innovations that are being worked on. We look forward to the positive outcome it will have.” – Graham Kennedy, Head of Commercial Inkjet Business, Ricoh Europe

“Meteor has grown over the past few years through collaboration and partnership and we are really positive about supporting and being involved in the summit. Any help we can provide to support the market at this tough time we are keen to do, and we see the summit providing a service and a platform to connect and learn. This has to be a good thing.” Tracey Stephens-Brown, Director of Strategy and Marketing Meteor Inkjet.

“The FuturePrint Virtual Summit will deliver some crucial positivity and support for the industry during this challenging time and we’re excited to be a part of it. With most communities across the world self-isolating, the importance of critical communications - paper, print, and mail – has never been more apparent. Digital technologies are helping keep the flow of commerce moving forward and we’re confident that this will continue as business returns to normal. After all, history has proven that out of great adversity comes innovation and renewed passion to rebuild.” Jonathan Malone-McGrew, Senior Director of Engagement, Solimar Systems
