hubergroup develops sheet-fed printing ink for high-volume printing of food packaging

  • Publicado el 31 de Enero de 2017

The demands being made with respect to the printing of food packaging are constantly growing. Large-format prints produced at high speeds, cheaper substrate grades and a great awareness of quality and safety demand special printing-ink systems. In this context, the printing-ink manufacturer hubergroup is replacing its proven NATURA GA series with its latest MGA NATURA series starting 1 February 2017.

This new series stands out thanks to its greatly improved in-press performance and it satisfies all the requirements of the major food manufacturers. It is highly suitable for producing food packaging with very good organoleptic properties, especially when fast post-print processing is required. All components in the formulation are evaluated and the production process is subject to thorough checks and controls, which means MGA NATURA contains only substances that either do not migrate or that have been assessed for food contact.

hubergroup’s own strict MGA guidelines guarantee that the ink is produced in compliance with good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards, taking into account all relevant requirements for food packaging printing. This special MGA guarantee provided by hubergroup will in future apply to all ink systems for printing food packaging. Brand owners and printers will then be assured that no impurities or undesirable substances will be implemented in the production process. MGA NATURA will be available as process inks, as spot inks in line with the classic colour guides and also as bespoke corporate design colours.
