Onevision develops new station concept to keep an overview of the production status of products

OneVision software solutions ensure smooth production processes at various printing companies, media houses, as well as commercial and industrial businesses worldwide. The modular workflow software can be easily implemented in existing system landscapes. In order to provide even greater support for users in their holistic, digital production control, an innovative concept for production stations has been developed for the latest software version.

With the station concept, OneVision supports the entire production control from order entry to logistics. Through the newly developed function, instructions and information on specific work steps can be automatically passed on to users at different production stations. As live feedback to the workflow management system, users at the stations can record the implementation of process steps according to job specifications. This enables print service providers to digitally track the production status of their products in a transparent manner.

In addition to optimizing usability, OneVision's workflow management system has also been expanded in the new version with regard to the customization of dashboards. In order to reflect the requirements of different user roles, additional dashboards can now be configured.

To allow even more precise, and hence resource-saving, nesting in the wide format sector, marks can now also be placed between objects automatically. As a further improvement, the length of the cutting line after nesting is provided as a job property for subsequent calculation of the time required and the cutting costs.
